Crystal structure
This building is like a huge crystal which is developing under the inner rules set by the module of its crystal structure. This allows it react quickly on all the restrictions of location, not changing and not losing its crystal appearance

In the context of modernism
Vissarionov’s PAM have developed another "resort" project – a modernist residential complex for "Mamaika” area in Sochi. Three buildings which look like boomerangs on the plan, are placed up on terrace plateau-stylobate and are covered with “cellular cloths”

Gates to the other side
For a few years now Kutuzovsky prospect has been growing in its height: "Edelweiss", “Miraks-plaza”, there emerge foundation ditches for realization the concept of overlapping of the Kiev railway. Though there are no clear results of the contest, organized by Moskomarchitecture in 2006, there are real construction works are being executed. Among them there is also the project of a hotel and business complex on the crossing of Poklonnaya street and 1812 goda street, designed by the studio of Pavel Andreev

The tamed whirlwind
Recently the architectural bureau ADM has been working on rather complex and unusual project – reconstruction of a commercial apartment building of the beginning of 20th century into ultra-modern "A" class office building. The main difficulty is requirement to save the historical façade while full changing of the "inside" according to the last technical requirements. Uniqueness is in treatment of "modern part", in the very core of which there is hidden curved and sparkling with different colors glass atrium.

Nursery school: architectural solution
This year, in the spring, a few famous Moscow architects were invited to participate in projects of new nursery schools in the center of capital. Dmitry Aleksandrov's studio presents three projects on this order, on Novokuznetskaya street, in Kotelniki and in Bolshaya Gruzinskaya. Design ideas of the projects are alike but buildings are different

The two brothers
A. Asadov’s studio has been developing projects of the two retail and business complexes, in Tumen and Lipetsk. The have similar typologies, both consist of a retail centre and office tower, and their images are different: one is sharp, angular, mobile, the second is composed and quiet, plastery, compact. As though they are the two brothers with different characters

A genre transformation
This spring in Strogino there was completed construction of the two towers of “Yantarny gorod” [Amber City] by Dmitry Aleksandrov, the other two are under construction. After the first part of construction was completed it appeared that the houses have not only unique inner structure of multileveled atriums but peculiar for our times very physical texture

Village-pearl
Name of the project of a village in area by Moscow “Zhemchuzhina Il’inki” [Pearl of Il’inka] is not just a metaphor. The settlement is designed alike to a shell with a “pearl” inside – here the architectural image totally accords with village's name. When people attracted by advertising will come here they will see a “real pearl in a real shell”.

Fortress-chameleon
To the east from Paveletsky railroad station, in the place of the former factory there is already cleared out territory for construction of a large (112 600 sq m) business centre by the project of “Sergey Kiselyov and Partners” studio. Austere glass-brick architecture of this complex will make its 11storey volumes less marked – and at the same time it creates a high priced office space, half hidden, fenced off from motley industrial area, they has been transforming it into an office city block for a few years now

Romance of a flight
Tall blind fences with huge constructions behind shut from the outer world – this is the image of most sites in Russian cottage settlements where land is freely sold without. But this is not about the new project by “Panakom” bureau developed for “Vaututinki” village – the house is bravely unfolding towards the road, fence is low, and full glazing is applied not only from the inner yard side

“Extra floor”
It is easy to see, few projects of Russian architects developed the theme of large scale accommodation set by curator of the recently closed Moscow biennial –much more than beautiful elite city blocks. The project presented by ICube bureau as part of “Kvartalny vopros” [City block problem] is one of the exceptions. Architects suggested a witty variant of reconstruction of panel microdistrict by building up the urban space between 1storeyed infrastructure houses

Dynamic small town
Project of Olympic training school carries on the line of schools with cheerful architecture started by board school in Kozhuhovo. This is a conglomeration of various constructions, a fan of architectural ideas – as always bright and at the same time answers the peculiarities of urban and nature environment. To bring together such dynamic architecture with the surrounding is not a simple task, but A. Asadov's studio has long been working on this city blog - forming within a specific part of Mytischy a unique – colorful – town
