Ilya Utkin

The biography
Utkin Ilya Valentinovich was born in Moscow in 1955. In 1978 has finished the Moscow architectural institute in group of professor Boris Barhina. Worked in cooperation with Alexander Brodsky (1978-1993). In 1994 has organized has headed Utkin's Studio (Architecture and design).

1978 Second premium at competition OISTT « Theatre for the future generations », Paris (up to 1993 all prizes were received together with A.Brodskim).
1982 First premium at competition JA « The Crystal palace », Tokyo.
1983 Third premium at competition JA « Dwelling historical and local », Tokyo. 
1984 Second premium at competition JA « The Glass tower », Tokyo.
1985 Second premium at competition JA « The Stronghold of resistance », Tokyo. 
1986 Second premium at competition JA « The Glass monument of 2001 », Tokyo. 
1987 Incentive premium at competition JA «The Intellectual market », Tokyo. 
1988 First premium at design competition « The East meets the West of " the Competitive center « Jacob K. Javits », New York. 
1997 Third premium at competition JA « The Tower of the Millenium », Tokyo.
The third place in the Architectural rating of " 10 best constructions of decade », Moscow (the place is divided from A.Brodskim and E.Monahovym)
The second place at competition « The Best project of year » Russian union of architects (together with S.Shestopalov).
2000 «The Star of the Gold Lion ». For the contribution to an exposition of pavilion of Russia. The Venetian Biennial. 7-th international architectural exhibition. 
2003 Nomination on competition « Gold spotlights » for stenography to ballet "Cinderella", St.-Petersburg.

2004 First premium at competition « Ideal city » for the project "Ark", Moscow.
