Aleksey Ivanov

Aleksey Ivanov was born January 20 1962 in Moscow, Russia. In 1985, he graduated from Moscow Institute of Architecture. From 1985 to 1989, he worked in Studio 16 of “Mosproject-2” under the guidance of V.Kubasov. From 1989 to 1992 - in OOO “SIAS” under the guidance of A.Bokov. Since 1993, he has occupied the position of the General Director of OOO “Arkhstroydesign ASD”. Aleksey is a member of the Russian Union of Architects since 1989, and a member of the supervisory board of the “Arkhitekturny Vestnik” (“Architecture Newsletter”) magazine. The Silver Medal of USSR Exhibition of National Economy Achievements for a series of contest works, 1990. Laureate of 23 Soviet, Russian, and international architecture contests from 1988 to 2011, including: “Best low-rise building” and “Best project” nominations of the “Golden Section” contest; laureate of “Zodchestvo” (“Architectonics”) festival of 1998 and 2003. The winner of five awards of the “Settlement of the Year” contest from 2006 to 2006. 3 “Quality Architecture” diplomas in 2006, 2010, and 2011. In 2010, Aleksey became the finalist of the international bid for the residential block and a hotel in the city of Erevan (Armenia) together with A.Khomyakov, A.Kolosov, S.Moskaltseva, and others.
