Julia Tarabarina. Peace to palaces

The ambition of the project of four palace-houses village is to express the idea of the architectural sodality and harmony

This is the project of the village that consists of the four private houses, 2000 m2 each. The extent of such a house is comparable to a manor house of the period between the ‘liberties of the gentry’ and the beginning of Russian capitalism, that de...   more

description:

The site intended for construction settles down on a picturesque hill, on edge of a wood near to the village Soloslovo. It is supposed to place four houses, a total area on 2000 sq.m. each on this site with the area of 4,6 hectares. Thus all complex should have the general infrastructure with an office building and private zones with the area on 1 hectares.
The main idea of the project consists in the following: each house has the image, the composition and the individuality, but thus a composition of the construction of all ensemble is general, subordinated to the uniform volumetric-spatial decision.
Uniting element is main « The Avenue of the consent ». It is simultaneously a street and a park of the main promenade, framed by smart portals of surrounding houses, flower beds and fountains. The specific platform with a view pergola on the highest mark of a hill finishes a composition of the Avenue. Strict orthogonality of portals emphasizes subordination to the main idea of the project - it is a consent and peaceful co-existence of architectural forms and people in uniform space. Houses are located so that not to close view points to each other. Private zones have the spaces closed from extraneous eyes. Drawing rooms and dining rooms are turned to the coming sun. The open terraces have specific prospects. Economic zones are certain by entrance group and not crossed with a zone of recreations. Houses have the general ideological structure, constructive reception and an identical set necessary for the given class of habitation of premises. But the organization of space composition of construction on a relief and details of each house are unique . They are equivalent, but each house has the individuality and value.
The general entrance zone is accented by an office building with the open parking for guest motor vehicles. The complex is enclosed by the general fencing which is looking like a retaining wall, covered by plants and carefully entered in a relief. In classics it is impossible to do without some water. From the middle of "Avenue of the consent» it is possible to go down to water and to leave on a beach, to the artificial reservoir created by platinum.
So the idea of a pacification, calmness, steadiness and beauty as classical architectural reception has found reflection in our project.
