Anna Gerasimenko. Islands over the sea
Studio of A.Asadov have recently designed for Sochi one of their most daring and even most fantastic projects – hotels-islands raised upon supports above the water surface. These complexes are able to compete with the project of “Federation Islands”, plus solve a number of issues of the resort and future Olympic Games city. Recently the Town Planning Department of Cheboksary city passed the reconstruction project of territory of research and production complex “Elara”, designed by A.A. Asadov's architectural studio. Construction of “Centre of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology” was started last year. Since it was approved by the Prime Minister, Putin, it has become quite popular. Must say, architecture of the centre, no doubt, vital from the medicine point, seems special - its colorfulness does not only entertain children but everything is planned so that it gives hope for recovery.18.12.2008

On “Arabia-Expo” exhibition organized in Moscow in autumn, architects from A.Asadov’s studio showcased their most fantastic projects, including those designed for the Middle East. One of them is the conceptual project “Aerohotel”, a parking station for flying hotel-dirigible. It will be placed in the height of a 14-story building over the Persian Gulf.05.12.2008

Anna Gerasimenko. The two brothers
A. Asadov’s studio has been developing projects of the two retail and business complexes, in Tumen and Lipetsk. The have similar typologies, both consist of a retail centre and office tower, and their images are different: one is sharp, angular, mobile, the second is composed and quiet, plastery, compact.
