Anna Martovitskaya. On the bed of music
In Tai Bei less than a year ago there was held an international architectural contest on Taipei Pop Music Center design project. TPO "Reserv" interpreted the object as a giant bed, a "bed" which they turned into an outdoor stage.

Julia Tarabarina. Within the circle of happiness
Architecture of "Zarechie" residential complex employs and variously plays with geometry of the circle – so to say, it is not sketched with a ruler, but a pair of compasses. Here you can see a try to comprehend the idea of "round house" uncovered again by Melnikov, or it is another interpretation of Malevich's suprematism, but geometry is not core in project, it emotional spirit, which comes from the great architectural desire of the last century – designing of a beautiful life .

Julia Tarabarina. Crystal Wings
On the way to Sheremetvevo-2 airport, in the field near Melkisarovo village, installation of the “Aeroflot” company office building is completed. Three years ago we had a publication about the project here. This is a back-office of the Aeroflot (the head office will be located in a rented space on the Arbat), and at the same time this is a perfect head office. Anyway, it is hard to imagine a more appropriate office for a company involved in air transport services.

Julia Tarabarina. Fusion and parting
Development history of the “Fusion-park” project is a fine example how architecture depends from idea. First, the main was a museum, and mixture of forms was the theme. Then, after the museum was enclosed in body of the building, the image of complex has changed: “fusion” was replaced by opposition of “residential theme” and “work theme” in the two nearby buildings.

This building is like a huge crystal which is developing under the inner rules set by the module of its crystal structure. This allows it react quickly on all the restrictions of location, not changing and not losing its crystal appearance

Julia Tarabarina. Architecture of a mechanism
We have already told about the project of a retail centre "Vremena goda" on Kutuzovsky prospect. Tis a very technically advanced construction, its south façade turned towards the highway is a computer controlled mechanical showcase. The building is completed, the up-market retail centre is opened and anyone can see it
