Mikhail has professional experience of 14 years, last 7 as the director and co-founder of the Moscow-based architecture bureau "Arch group". In 2009, Forward Media Group voted "Arch group" as one of Moscow's Top 10 Young Architecture Firms. The bureau's projects have garnered many accolades from the architecture community and have appeared in a number of Russian and foreign publications. Project of "Arch group" is the winner of international architectural competition for Russian cultural centre in Paris on quay Branly (2011). Mikhail is co-creator of innovative Sleepbox project. The Sleepbox has been recognized as one of the TOP-10 best ideas according to the world's most influential architecture and design website Dezeen. Sleepbox project was marked by professional awards and numerous publications in Russian and foreign press. In the beginning of 2013 Sleepbox Hotel Tverskaya was opened in Moscow. In addition to architectural practice Mikhail was the editor-in-chief of "Interior + Design. 100% Office" magazine for 3 years – a glossy magazine covering commercial architecture and design. Also Mikhail was a senior editor of architecture topics in "Interior+Design" – leading specialized magazine in Russia. Mikhail Krymov is à member of the Union of Architects.

Credo:

My goal is to identify the maximum aesthetic and functional capacity of the project taking into account the client's wishes. I believe that good architecture should not be a financial burden on the customer's budget. Good architecture is the result of an architect's professional approach and his interest in the outcome. The foundation of quality architecture lies in the attention to details coming together with daring solutions.
