Oleg Medinsky

Oleg Medinsky was born in Moscow in 1972. In 1997, he graduated from Moscow Architectural Institute – MARKHI. In 1997-2002, Oleg worked in “Mosproject-2”, in Studio №2 headed by Dmitry Solopov.

In 2003, together with Vsevolod Medvedev, Zurab Bassaria, and Mikhail Kanunnikov, Oleg founded the architectural firm “4izmerenie” (“Fourth Dimension”).
A member of the Union of Moscow Architects, Union of Moscow Artists, the winner of the golden diploma of Moscow architectural festival “Zodchestvo 2002”, “Golden Section 2004” prize, as well as other Russian and international competitions.

The contest-winning ambitious grand-scale project of the main theater and concert complex of the Moscow area includes three auditoriums, a yard – a public area – a higher school of music, and a few hotels. It promises to become a high-profile center for the classical music festivals on a national scale.

Lara Kopylova. ​A Home for the Perfect Client

Designing “P-house” on the Dmitrovskoye Highway, the architects of “Fourth Dimension” embellished the small-house genre with a few themes of big architecture. The client and builder granted the authors Vsevolod Medvedev and Mikhail Kanunnikov absolute freedom of action and implemented their plan to the maximum quality.

A bridge that looks like an ancient fish skeleton, an art object in the shape of a giant heart and no samovars or gingerbread – a contest project for improvement of the historical center of Tula from “4izmerenie”.
