Sergei Skuratov, was the only Russian architect, invited to participate in recently held international contest on design of Perm Opera and Ballet Theater new building. His theatre project was the largest in scale and most elaborated in terms of functionality, architectural and planning stage. In 2001 there was installed a building with remarkable rounded facade by Sergei Skuratov’s project along Burdenko street, which joins the Garden Ring and Hamovniki. Today "Sergei Skuratov Architects" have another client and different requirements, but the second construction will be located almost opposite to the first one, and soon Burdenko street will gain not only a new building but a very interesting dialogue of the two creations belonging to the same master.13.08.2009

This year Sergey Skuratov has almost at the same time completed construction of the two office buildings located on Prechistenskaya and Novodanilovaskaya quays. They have a lot in common, in particular, they both appreciate presence of the river, though the author does not aim to build “real” bridges to it.04.08.2008
