AR House Awards 2026: Премия за лучшие проекты в области частной жилой архитектуры
Премия отмечает лучшие проекты частных домов, рассматривая индивидуальное жилье как важный этап профессионального становления архитектора и пространство для экспериментов. К участию принимаются реализованные за последние пять лет проекты любого масштаба и бюджета, демонстрирующие новаторские идеи и развитие типа односемейного дома. Launched in 2010, the AR House awards recognise originality and excellence in the design of dwellings. The house is a key rite of passage for architects, critical to the ferment and crystallisation of new ideas, offering the potential for innovation. The awards recognise projects built in the last five years that demonstrate creativity, originality and ideas that push the house forward – whatever the scale or construction cost. The judges’ chosen projects will all be visited by an independent critic and photographer before a decision is made on the winner.

Why enter
All entries will be reviewed by AR editors to choose a shortlist of six projects
These six projects will then be visited by an independent critic before the winner is selected by an expert international judging panel
The shortlisted projects will be featured with in-depth building studies in the December 2026/January 2027 issue of The Architectural Review
All entrants will have their project listed on the AR House awards website, each with an image and URL
All shortlisted projects will be promoted in print in the AR, and on the AR website, emails and social media to more than a million readers worldwide
What to enter
Beyond new and permanent residences for a single family, the following projects are also eligible: holiday homes, countryside retreats, mountain cabins, projects that combine a home with another programme (office, studio, gallery, etc), prototypes, experiments and university projects for living units, extensions and interior renovations, and existing buildings converted into homes. Homes for a group of people living together are also eligible as long as they remain small-scale and constitute a single ‘home’ for a particular community such as Habitat for Orphan Girls and Doctors’ Housing .
