Hunnu smart city international architecture competition
Участникам предлагается разработать концепцию «устойчивого» и ориентированного на человека города Хунну-Сити (спутник Улан-Батора), сочетающего современные технологии с историко-культурным наследием Монголии. Проект должен учитывать климатические условия, включать «зеленые» решения, ориентироваться на эффективное экономическое развитие и высокое качество жизни для горожан. В числе приоритетов – внедрение «умных» систем управления, развитие общественных пространств и формирование узнаваемой городской идентичности, отсылающей к культуре хунну.
The objective of the International Design Competition for the Master Planning of Hunnu City is to develop a sustainable urban planning concept that is based on the principles of sustainable development; integrates modern innovative and green technologies; harmonizes Mongolia’s historical heritage and cultural identity with global development trends; and envisions a human-centered, livable, and resilient urban environment.
Scope
Participants are invited to propose an urban planning concept for a designated site aimed at developing a city that is smart, green, resilient to climate change risks, human-centered, and promotes a high quality of life. The conceptual design should focus on achieving the following key goals:
Integrating Innovative and Technological Solutions
Develop solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of urban governance, transportation, energy, and information systems by applying modern smart technologies, thus enhancing the overall quality of life for residents.
Implementing Environmentally Friendly Planning
Create an environmentally friendly urban model that promotes a sustainable lifestyle by utilizing renewable energy sources, enhancing waste management, ensuring efficient water use, and increasing green spaces.
Developing a Climate-Resilient Urban Model
Design flexible and adaptive infrastructure, buildings, and urban layouts that can withstand environmental changes and natural disaster risks, ensuring the city's long-term resilience and sustainability.
Incorporating Mongolian History and Culture
Emphasize the city's unique identity by blending the historical heritage of the Hunnu Empire and Mongolia’s traditional culture and customs with modern architectural and urban planning solutions to create a globally recognizable brand.
Creating a Human-Centered Urban Environment
Enhance public health, safety, and comfort by creating accessible and inclusive public transport, pedestrian pathways, social services, and recreational spaces that encourage well-being and convenience for all citizens.
Supporting Economic Growth
Promote the country's sustainable economic development by creating a supportive business environment and infrastructure that attracts both domestic and foreign investment, along with developing innovation hubs and economic zones.
