Международная премия FRAME Awards основана в 2017 году издательской компанией Frame (Нидерланды). Проводится на платформе frameweb.com в 34 категориях. Жюри оценивает присланные работы по четырем критериям: инновации, функциональность, креативность и экологичность. К участию принимаются только реализованные после 1 января 2022 проекты интерьеров, мебели, светильников, предметов декора и интерьерных покрытий; проекты, существующие исключительно в цифровой/виртуальной сфере, к участию не допускаются.
The FRAME Awards is the first and only global spatial and product design awards with a truly holistic approach.
FRAME Awards is all about recognizing spaces and products that matter.There are 34 categories within the award themes Spatial, Executional, Products and Honorary.
We welcome submissions for spaces that have been fully realized after 1 January, 2022. This spans a broad spectrum, ranging from conventional interior designs to concepts that incorporate digitally enhanced, location-specific indoor experiences. Whether your work represents a traditional interior space or pushes the boundaries with innovative digital elements, the FRAME awards invites you to share your built creations. We welcome realized product designs, including objects such as furniture, lighting, finishes, and interior accessories.
Projects that only exist in the digital/virtual realm and have not been realized are not eligible for submission.
More than a beauty contest
It's great if interior spaces are aesthetically pleasing. But that's not their reason of being. They should be designed and built with people and the planet in mind. Therefore the FRAME Awards is more than a beauty contest. Our jury evaluates submissions with four criteria: innovation, functionality, creativity and sustainability. Together, these criteria paint a picture of an interior or product's characteristics: whether it's future-facing, human-centric, aesthetically pleasing and an all-inclusive and environmentally-friendly experience.
Monthly jury panels
To assess submitted projects in a holistic way, our jury needs to be the broadest possible representation of the design industry. Each month we therefore invite opinionated design professionals from all over the world and all backgrounds to sign up for a seat in our 15-people strong jury panels. To make the jury panels as inclusive and diverse as possible, we allow not only designers and architects to take a seat, but also brands, educators, manufacturers, PR and HR people as well as all other stakeholders that make up the interiors industry worldwide. Together they set the standard for spatial design excellence. The evaluation process takes place online. Our jury’s scores and feedback are displayed for full transparency.
Winner of the Month
Every month the highest ranking space or product - regardless of category - will be awarded Winner of the Month. The four runners-up will receive an Honourable Mention.
Winners of the Year
At the end of the year, 34 winners will be announced. The 5 highest scoring submissions per category will get shortlisted. A grand jury will choose the top scoring submission of each category and declare it Winner of the Year. Yearly winners will get mentioned in an Awards Ceremony and will receive their very own FRAME Awards trophy.
