Sixth International Baku Architecture Award

В этом году Бакинская международная архитектурная премия посвящена 100-летию со дня рождения Гейдара Алиева. Участвовать могут реализованные и концептуальные проекты жилой, общественной и ландшафтной архитектуры, а также проекты реконструкции и приспособления исторических зданий.

The Union of Architects of Azerbaijan announces the launch of the 6th Baku International Architecture Award. The sixth Baku International Architecture Award is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people.

The Baku International Architecture Award is an open, biennial award organised by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan with the support of the International Union of Architects (UIA)

Objective

The main objective of the competition is to discover new ideas for: development and implementation of urban planning and architectural designs, more meaningful design for buildings and structures, search for composition, volumetric and spatial solutions; implementation of practical ideas to achieve the maximum diversity.

Categories

Entries are invited in the following categories:

A – best implemented project of public architecture;
B – best implemented project of residential architecture;
C – best implemented interiors;
D – best non-realised project;
E – best implemented project in the field of landscape architecture
F – best implemented project in the field of rehabilitation and reconstruction of historic buildings;
G – best publication in the field of architecture.
