Pohang Museum International Design Competition
Участникам конкурса предлагается разработать проект здания музея, посвященного городу Пхохан. Музей станет центром сохранения, исследования и популяризации исторического и культурного наследия города и его области.
Музей планируется разместить на территории тематического парка «Ёноран и Сеньё». Он станет новой культурной платформой, связывающей прошлое города с его будущим. Особое внимание предлагается уделить раскрытию местной идентичности, созданию современных выставочных и образовательных пространств, а также интеграции здания в природное и общественное окружение.
Основная задача – сформировать выразительный музейный комплекс, способный стать важным общественным и культурным центром Пхохана.

Announcement of International Design Competition for Pohang Museum
We aim to create a new cultural platform that preserves and promotes the comprehensive history of Pohang, bridging its deep roots into the future by systematically collecting, researching, and exhibiting its cultural heritage.
Currently, Pohang lacks a museum to serve as a central hub for the systematic collection, research, and exhibition of the region's history, culture, and cultural heritage.
This issue has resulted in the relocation of over 32,000 vast artifacts to other regions. Consequently, Pohang City aims to establish a museum that will reclaim, exhibit, and utilize these precious cultural assets born from our region, while fully preserving the area's identity and history to pass down to future generations.
Beyond fragmented memories, we design a comprehensive museum that fully embodies the unique identity of the city in the Yeonorang Seonyeo Theme Park.
