Infrastructure as a system: awakening of the force
Участникам конкурса предлагается разработать концепцию вымышленного объекта инфраструктуры, представив его как часть системы, способной отвечать на вызовы климатических изменений, технологических преобразований, законодательных реформ и меняющихся потребностей социума. Тема 2026 года – «Пробуждение силы» – предлагает рассмотреть инфраструктуру как один из ключевых инструментов социальных, экономических и экологических преобразований. Особое внимание рекомендуется уделить вопросам темпов перехода к новым моделям развития, управления инфраструктурными системами и долгосрочной устойчивости предлагаемых решений.
Answer the call: “Infrastructure as a System”, we invite students to rethink infrastructure for a world shaped by climate pressure, technological disruption, regulatory change and shifting demand. Team up with your friends / peers. The contest is open to creative minds from various backgrounds: architecture, urban planning, engineering, complex systems, economics, public policy, computer science, etc. Participants have to showcase their ideas for designing a fictional infrastructure project that is not just efficient today, but resilient, adaptive and sustainable across uncertain futures.
In 2026, InfraVision is exploring the theme: THE AWAKENING OF THE FORCE how infrastructure can be a major lever to achieve the required transitions.
As infrastructure systems are pushed to evolve faster than ever, the real challenge is not whether to transition, but how to do so at the appropriate pace, with optimal risk-taking, the most effective and aligned incentives, and a well-designed governance.
