International Competition for Architecture and Design Students
Студентам – участникам конкурса предлагается представить проекты, исследующие пространство, материалы и конструкции с использованием продукции Cosentino. Конкурс ориентирован на экспериментальный подход к архитектуре и дизайну, с акцентом на экологическую ответственность, повторное использование ресурсов и работу с избыточными материалами.
Программа включает две основные номинации: проектирование интерьера медиа-студии и дизайн мебели. В обоих случаях особое внимание уделяется «устойчивости», реализуемости решений, работе с плоскими панелями и выразительному потенциалу материалов Cosentino в архитектурном и дизайн-контексте.

Purpose
The aim of Cosentino Design Challenge competitions is to encourage student research on different conceptual approaches involving the layout of spaces, materials and the constructive systems that define them, via experimentation with Cosentino products This research and focus, along with the themes put forward in each competition, have as their underlying principle; respect for the environment, the re-use and management of waste, as well as the possibility of reconverting excess material into high-quality raw materials. Cosentino believes that it is important to foster these reflections during the formative stage of future professionals.
CDC 20 Archirecture Objective
For the 20th Cosentino Design Challenge, International Architecture Competition, the topic is: Spaces for the Media. Design of spaces tailored for recording and broadcasting content in media such as television, radio, and press.
The design must include:
• An architecture proposal, totally open to the set topic “Green architecture with Dekton and stone” for each student.
• The construction of the space and/o. r element created must be done using cross-sections, detailed drawings and instructions for assembly.
• Other non-Cosentino materials (e.g. wood, glass, etc.) may be used to a certain extent
• Consideration must be given to the feasible production of the design and that it can only be made using flat panels and pieces cut directly from a slab.

The use of other materials is valued. The overall ambiance and integrated design.
The design must include:
• A design proposal, totally open to the set topic “permanent vs pop-up retail…and the focus towards sustainability” for each student.
• The construction of the element and/or space created must be done using cross-sections, detailed drawings and instructions for assembly.
• Consideration must be given to the manufacturability of the pieces and that these can only be made from flat panels and pieces cut directly from a slab.
