Конкурс посвящен редевелопменту территории сортировочной товарной станции Жижков в Праге. Здесь планируется построить жилье и создать необходимую инфраструктуру. Состязание проводится в два этапа. Первый – квалификационный. На втором пять команд-финалистов займутся разработкой проектов.

Penta Real Estate - together with SUDOP and České Dráhy – have invited local and foreign architects, architectural practices and teams to an open two-round international architectural and urban design competition. This aims to find the best proposal for a large-scale residential scheme in the Prague city part of Žižkov.
Competition area
The competition site is located in the eastern part of Žižkov, on the north-east edge of the former Nákladní Nádraží Žižkov (Žižkov Freight Station).
This area will undergo a large-scale redevelopment with a focus on residential usage.
We are confident that our project – defined by its location, atop a mound with views to the south and separated from the rest of the area by a mature line of trees – has strong potential to transform the location into an attractive, convenient, and comfortable place to live.
Function
Mainly residential, with approximately 500 apartments (min. 46 200 sqm GFA) combined with public amenities (commercial or non-commercial function) of local significance.
