Команда SuperSkyScrapers вновь предоставляет возможность поразмыслить над образом и функциональностью современных небоскребов. На этот раз конкурсантам предстоит разработать проект высотного отеля на Манхэттене в Нью-Йорке. Отличительной особенностью небоскреба станет наличие лесной зоны и пчелиной фермы. Здание должно быть оригинальным и эстетически привлекательным, стать одной из точек притяжения района.

The program challenges participants to design a Sky Forest & Bee Farm Hotel Skyscraper design or concept must take advantage of any great views around it, minimise the bad. in the Chelsea district of the Manhattan in New York Metropolitan Area. The design should be visually and aesthetically engaging in contributing positively to the area with emphasis on provision of great hotel and leisure facility. It should maximise the positive contribution of such a vertical structure whist minimising the negative impact.
The proposal should incorporate at least the following zones as participants are free to decide on the ratio, size and space combination within the program:
Administrative Zone (Offices)
Hotel Residence Zone (Rooms, Suites)
Hotel Lobby Zone (Lobby for Check-in, Check-out, Waiting, Lounging)
Nature Zone (Bookstore and store on nature /conservation)
Recreational and Social Zone including terrace (Bars, Restuarants, Cafe)
Medical, Health, Fitness and Relaxation Zone
Green Zone (Sky Forest and Bee Farm – these can be in seperate levels or parts of the development)
General Access, Circulation and Safety
Parking is not neccessary and where provided must be below ground.
