HIMAARTRA Architecture Festival
Архитектурный студенческий фестиваль-конкурс проводится в Индонезии в 11-й раз, и уже второй год подряд он открыт для международного участия. Задание для участников в этом году – разработать проект «микропространства», призванного решить какие-либо актуальные социальные проблемы. Площадь участка может составлять не более 50 м², а высота здания не должна превышать двух этажей.

Architecture Festival is an annual design competition which is presented by Himpunan Mahasiswa Arsitektur Petra (HIMAARTRA).
This competition has been organized 10 times. At first it was just an internal architecture design competition for several years (only for architecture students of PCU) and then became a National Architecture design competition (only for Indonesian Architecture Student).
The 10th time, Architecture Festival became an International architecture design competition. Now widely open for all undergraduate architecture student around the world.
Theme: CONTEXTUAL MICRO SPACE
SPACE is the right of all people without any exception. But recently, spaces for social interaction are hardly able to be found, overthrown by commercial functions. Whereas, if we are observant there are lots of wasted space that can be develop to fill the social needs. We as the future architects, in truth are train not just to create creative solution tactfully, but also creatively recognize an actual social condition then to inspect the problem, potential, and the solution. Find the actual social issues around your environment and find the negative micro space that have potential to bewitch by your creativity.
