Конкурс приурочен к 120-летию горнолыжного курорта Боровец, старейшего в Болгарии. От участников требуется разработать проекты развития территории «Золотой треугольник» в центре курорта. Лучший проект планируется реализовать при участии автора.

Samokov Municipality, the fourth largest in Bulgaria and the largest in the Sofia region, is situated in the Samokov valley at the foot of the majestic and picturesque Rila, Verila, Vitosha and Plana mountains. The beautiful mountain views and natural parks, as well as the numerous winter and summer attractions, together with the cultural and architectural heritage of the region, are vital for tourism development, a pride for our residents and a motivation for the Municipality team to work hard for their preservation and sharing with our guests.
The oldest Bulgarian resort Borovets (founded in 1896) is a pearl in the crown of Bulgarian mountain tourism, located at an altitude of 1350m and at a distance of only 70 km south of the capital Sofia and 125 km from the second largest city in the country Plovdiv, providing excellent conditions for year-round tourism. In winter the resort attracts visitors from around the world with nearly 60 km ski runs and international competitions. In summer it is the starting point for walking, trekking, cycling and riding and is a preferred family holiday destination. Borovets is also the year-round starting point for conquering the highest peak of the Balkans - Mount Musala (2925m).
