Конкурсантам предлагается разработать концепцию социального жилья для марсельского района Ле Панье. В проектах нужно предусмотреть не только жилые здания, но также общественные пространства. Участвовать могут все желающие. Стоимость регистрации зависит от того, на какой приз претендует участник – €500 или €1000.

Marseille is a place with a thousand faces and many destinies that converge in it coming from the Mediterranean all. The multiethnic French metropolis has for many centuries retained a strong autonomy and identity over the rest of the nation while still maintaining a cultural ferment that is the city’s recognition of the European Capital of Culture 2013. The ancient charm of the military for tifications and the cathedrals, de La Major and La Garde, have been joined by contemporary architectures such as La Ville Mediterranea signed by the Boeri studio, the MuCEM of Ricciotti studio and Foster cover at the old port that turned the waterfront.
We want to imagine a renewal that also involves Le Panier district: a SOCIAL HOUSING that becomes a meeting place where the inhab itants of the ancient center can establish a new system of social connections. A public square embedded in the project and serving the whole community will complete the intervention by making contemporary a means of urban transformation.
