LA World’s Fair Pavilion Zero
Междисциплинарные студенческие команды приглашаются к участию в конкурсе на проект нулевого павильона выставки World’s Fair, которая пройдет в Лос-Анджелесе в 2022 году. Этот павильон должен стать визитной карточкой события. Здесь будут проходить значимые совещания, конференции, презентации и другие мероприятия. Концепция павильона должна соответствовать заявленной теме выставки: «Лос-Анджелес – объединенный город».

Pavilion Zero will be the main pavilion at the Los Angeles World’s Fair’s™ and the initial operational epicenter and informational locus. The pavilion will act as headquarters and event center for the Fair, providing a dedicated venue for meetings, conferences, presentations, and events throughout the development and implementation of the entire project. It will set the agenda for all participating pavilions spread throughout LA’s 88 cities, demonstrating cutting edge infrastructure and communication technology, immersive and participatory media, community sensitivity and transportation connectivity, the promise of the fully developed LA World’s Fair™ to come.
The Pavilion Zero design shall speak to the identity and community surrounding the proposed site and include design aspects that help to remediate known problems or help to generally elevate community connectivity and social justice. Teams are encouraged to use a holistic and innovative approach to net-positive design that explores a paradigm shift within the world of design and construction.
