Design Competition for the Hanyangdoseong On-site Museum
Конкурс проводится властями Сеула с целью создания музея крепостной стены Ханяндосон у подножия горы Намсан. Музей позволит посетителям не только больше узнать об истории города, но и познакомиться с технологией строительства стены, процессом ее раскопок и консервации. Проекты должны быть выполнены в соответствии с законодательством о культурном и природном наследии. С победителем будет заключен контракт на дальнейшее проектирование.

This design competition is intended to refurbish the remains of Hanyangdoseong which were excavated in the section of Hoehyeon at the foot of Namsan Mountain in accordance with the local laws, including the Cultural Heritage Act, and the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, and to be offered a design draft which is necessary for formulating an on-site museum which enables a viewer to experience the technology of building the stone wall and its excavation and preservation process. The phase 3 section in Hoehyeon at the foot of Namsan Mount, an area subject to this design competition is a place where the overlapped history of Korea is layered and should be kept and protected. Hence, any design entry should be a creative one which can form a bond of sympathy among the citizens and carry the overlapped times, memories and remembrances of the site in a collective way.
