IFA 2017 - International Finsa Award for Students of Architecture & Design
Задача конкурсантов – разработать проект временного здания школы для детей, живущих в районах, которые пострадали от стихийных бедствий. Школа должна быть рассчитана на 25 учеников. Рекомендуется использование древесины и других экологичных материалов. Участвовать в конкурсе могут студенты архитектурных и дизайнерских специальностей, но обязательно под руководством преподавателей. Победители смогут использовать полученный гонорар для участия в проектах международной социально ориентированной архитектурной организации ASF International.
The International Finsa Award for Students of Architecture & Design aims to encourage and challenge students to explore and redesign the use of wood and other ecological and recyclable materials in construction. We believe that the future in construction should continue developing this way and know it is possible to achieve. The award considers the work of both teachers and students, all of whom will be acknowledged and awarded.
2017 EDITION: This is the first edition of our contest where education is the focus. Students and teachers will have the task of building a school. We want the school to be a temporary building with the goal of being able to quickly install the building after any unfavorable situation to help prevent interruptions to learning. The school should have a capacity for 25 pupils. We believe learning is essential for future development and the world should continue providing better resources to those in need.
WHO: We only accept students for our contest, you can work on your own or in a group of up to five. It is essential that you pick a teacher of your choice to guide your project. We believe that students with a broader knowledge in this growing industry are more attractive to employers as the world moves more 'green'.
ASSESSMENT: Main areas of the project to be assesed:
Feasability: The project must be realistic and something which uses readily available materials.
Adaptability: Able cope with different situations and places where it will be installed.
Cost: Submissions should include a budget per m2.
Cultural implications: Must be respectful to any culture.
THE PRIZE: The three best designs will receive 5.000€, 3.000€, 2.000€ respectively, to use on the project from ASF (www.asfint.org) of their choice, which will boost the student's career even it before started.
