Create and build identity in Hvidovre Town Centre in 48 hours
Молодая датская коммуна Видовре еще в конце прошлого столетия стала крупным центром киноиндустрии. Однако это обстоятельство никак не отображается в уличном оформлении. В настоящее время перед властями Видовре стоит задача создания центра города. Участникам необходимо предложить идеи для его оформления, причем акцент должен быть сделан именно на кинотематике. Кроме того, проект должен быть потенциально реализуем в течение 48 часов. В реализации лучшей идеи примут участие местные жители.

Hvidovre Municipality is in a state of development. In the 1950s the municipality was a suburb. In the course of the 1990s it evolved into a major centre for the film industry. So film and showbiz have become part of the town’s DNA. But this is not reflected clearly in the actual townscape.
Hvidovre is now faced with the task of developing a real town centre. The area around the site of the Town Hall has been designated as the future heart of the town. This has provided an opportunity to try out various initiatives in the garden surrounding the Risbjerggård cultural centre/club house.
In the context of this urban development project, Hvidovre Municipality is collaborating with the urban life organisation, GivRum. The special focus is the creation of temporary activities, which will help unite the people of Hvidovre.
Thus, In this competition, Hvidovre Municipality and GivRum are looking for ideas for how to invest Hvidovre the town centre with a visual identity as a centre of the film industry. The project will involve the people of Hvidovre. In a workshop lasting just 48 hours, they will help build the winning idea.
