WonderLAD - Architecture meets CHARITY
WonderLAD – это дом, где дети с тяжелыми заболеваниями, а также их семьи смогут заниматься повседневными делами, набираться сил и положительной энергии. Он будет возведен в Катании (Италия) на участке, выделенном муниципалитетом города, при финансовой поддержке многочисленных спонсоров, среди которых Fondazione Vodafone Italia, Enel Cuore Onlus и другие. Подобный проект уже был успешно реализован в Турине.

WonderLAD, this is the name of the house, will be a place where children affected from serious illness and their families can perform the activities of a normal life, despite the disease and during the necessary periods of hospitalizations.
The idea generates thanks to the collaboration with the staff of CasaOz, who have successfully developed the project in Turin and are transferring their know-how to LAD.
The house will be built with the financial support of Fondazione Vodafone Italia and Enel Cuore Onlus, as well as CIAM, Linealight, ANCE Catania and Studio Randazzo.
It will be erected a Catania on a ground of 12,000 square meters made available by the Municipality of Catania and it will cover a total area of 900 square meters, plus a multipurpose space of 250 square meters.
The competition belongs to the format called LAD PROJECT, whose goal is to create, through the launch of architectural competitions, places for care and residence of sick children and their families.
With its first edition, LAD has restored the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the Policlinico Hospital of Catania.
