Крошечные острова Лианкур (Dokdo) расположены в западной части Японского моря. Участникам предлагается спроектировать жилище для смотрителей или гостевой дом. Постройки должны минимально воздействовать на окружающую среду, самостоятельно обеспечивать себя энергией и гармонировать с природой островов.

In order to preserve and develop an eco-friendly Korean teritory, sustainable designs should be found and the construction of zero energy smart gren homes, suitable for harsh natural environments to human lives, should be designed.
This contest intends to find the concept of space for sustainable construction while not damaging the natural and ecological environments. By searching for the cycle of ecological systems, people's life styles, behavior paterns and the way of thinking, it would be posible to identify the virtue of eco-friendly sustainable construction and present the direction of construction in the future.
The residential construction plan, which combines zero energy smart gren homes with ubiquitous technology, wil aid the eventual establishment of eco-centered environments. For this reason, the cooperative relationship betwen construction space and technology should be maintained, al the while being constructed in ways that improve the comfortablenes of human and natural environments
