This year, the list of the regional laureates of International Property Awards includes over two dozen of Russian projects. For the next stage of the contest, entitled "The World's Best" - only twelve will be short-listed.
On the 14th of October, in London, the winners of Property Awards 2014 were announced. We have already written quite a lot about this prize. This year has seen three prize-winning regions, these being the Pacific, America, and Europe. As for the structure of the prize, it remained the same: four nominations - "Architecture", "Interior", "Development", and "Real Estate Company" - are divided into the subcategories "Five Stars" and "Honorable Mention". The projects that get five stars, automatically become the regional winners and continue to complete for the global recognition. Compared to last year, the list of the winners of the European subdivision of Property Awards is not as rich in Russian projects but it is still pleasing to the eye. In the nomination "Architecture", seven Russian projects are short-listed (two of them getting "Five Stars"), in "Interior" - twelve (six out of them with the top award), "Development" - eleven projects (three "star" projects), and in the nomination "Real Estate Company", "Kalinka" consulting group won both the top prize and the honorable mention. What is interesting is the fact that for two years running the prize for the best architecture of a housing project us awarded to Moscow's T+Т Architects. And the project of reconstruction of the territory of Dinamo Stadium (VTB Arena Park), submitted for the prize consideration by the developer, ZAO "Dinamo Managing Company", got the honorable mention both for the architecture and for the development.
