The school for 400 students will be built on the western outskirts of Minsk, where cottage development is upmost. Remarkable and innovational architectural solution of the future educational establishment was the only requirement from the clients. Considering the fact that the building site is an “open field”, it becomes obvious that the “Speech Tchoban/Kuznetsov" were given carte blanche. In order separate educational and sports blocks, as well as junior and middle classes, the architects came to the solution of a three part composition and dynamic design of the building, resembling a screw or a boomerang with three "blades". Each “blade” has a particular function: the first is totally given to the middle classes block, the second houses junior classes and canteens; the third one is a sports and fitness facilities. Center parts of all the blocks will be turned into winter gardens, and the center of the entire zoning will be the volume of the school hall triangle on the plan placed on the first story and a canteen on the second story. The architects cover this “boomerang" with "green" roof, center part of which is made of glass. Large atriums provide maximum illumination to the school public spaces and recreations. The "green roof" not only blends the building with the surrounding landscape, but also provides favorable space microclimate in the building. Thus, the school building itself will be a educative tool for students - its constructions according to cardinal directions, "green" technologies and smart planning demonstrate the younger generation basic principles of the environment-oriented architecture. Coloring of the building is done representing continuous spectrum.
