This year the center of specially protected natural territories “Nuvi at” in the city of Beloyarsky received a Golden Diploma at “Zodchestvo” in “Postroiki”. The architect Valery Lukomsky put the two most remarkable symbols of indigenous peoples of the North in the composition of the building – the boat and the reindeer skin tent.

Originally the eco-center "Nuvi am" was a complex of facilities for the authorities of the unique natural park “Numto”, but later they decided to add a museum and make there an exhibition devoted to the nature of the region, its traditional crafts, culture and life of the indigenous peoples. For the purpose the architects of “City-Arch” used the principle of integration of modern technologies and traditional for this region constructive and artistic techniques. "Nuvi At" (“white night ” from the Khanty) is located in the northwestern part of Beloyarsky, at the new territory closing Tsentralnay street. There is also a hotel complex “Calten” (also designed by the “City-Arch”), and the two objects flank the territory which soon will be used for city events and festivals. The master plan shows that the "Nuvi At" has such a stretched volume that actually serves as a bridge between the territory and the nearby street. The architects have considered this peculiarity and arranged a roofed pedestrian gallery within one of the facades. Building of the eco-center is formed by the two components: a horizontal prismatic volume of triangular cross-section and a split into two cut cone. "These volumes contain the most important message, - Valery Lukomski. – The cone volume is a metaphor for the reindeer skin tent, traditional home of the ethnic region. The real reindeer skin tent is always divided into male and female zones. Prototype of the horizontal prism is the oblas, a long and narrow boat used by the indigenous peoples for fishing and traveling along numerous rivers and lakes. As a literal reminder and strengthening of the entire image the architects placed by the main entrance one of the first showpieces, a real oblas.
