It focuses on integrating spatial, historical, and architectural data within a unified digital framework. The study takes Old Damascus as a case study, given its complex urban fabric and exceptional cultural significance. It examines how technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and digital modeling can enhance documentation, analysis, and identification of vulnerable heritage areas. The paper also highlights the potential of digital platforms to improve coordination among stakeholders and support informed decision-making. Ultimately, it aims to propose a methodological framework that bridges physical conservation and digital management of heritage assets. The study offers insights applicable to other historic cities facing urban transformation and development pressures.
